I have always been interested in what happens around me. But, I've always wanted to capture "that moment in time that can never be repeated". Don't all photographers? Whether it is people, places or nature, there are always moments that should never be squandered, maybe that one day we didn't stop to smell the roses and we should have. I want my pictures to reflect that possible "once in a lifetime happening"...that memory for someone who didn't have a camera.
I want to inspire others through my work. I want others to feel that same moment... that look in the eye, or the quiet beauty of the landscape....moments you cannot get back.
I love to photograph animals. My love for animals has been more than just a hobby. I started a non-profit animal rescue in 2008 . As of 2015, Northern Nevada Regional Animal Rescue has adopted out more than 600 animals. So you may see some of my rescues in my photography. They are always fun.
We also have the luxury in Nevada, of the Wild Horses. They roam around freely in Nevada and they provide many photo opportunities. Sometimes with unexpected results. Our Nevada horses are beautiful and majestic wild animals that need to be admired and loved from a distance. They can also be very dangerous subjects.
I hope you enjoy my photos and thank you for looking.
